The hand made puukko Elmax steel.
The Elmax (Sweden) powder steel steel blade with the cryo treatment has 62 hrc. hardness. Grind: the diamond shape, flat sides (about 7,5 deg) with a small bevel (19 deg). Elmax is a very good corrosion resistant steel. The knife is hand sharpened. The stick tang design. The blade tang goes trough the handle and it riveted to the titanium pommel. The handle made of stabilized maple burl wood and the titanium spacers. The handle is perfect fit in any size palm. The sheath made of Italian veg tan leather and dyed and finished by Fiebing's and Eco-Flo leather cares. The sheath has the plywood insert. Additional water protection made by Fiebing's Golden Mink Paste.
