The n690 (Austria) steel blade with the cryo treatment is 61 hrc. Grind: the diamond shape, flat sides (about 7 deg) with a small bevel (19 deg). Steel n690 is a very good corrosion resistant. The knife is hand sharpened. The stick tang design. The blade tang goes through the handle and it riveted to the titanium pommel. The handle is made of curly birch (masur), the antler fittings, and brown micarta spacers. The handle is a perfect fit in any size palm. The sheath is made of Italian veg tan leather and dyed and finished by Fiebing's and Eco-Flo leather care. The sheath has the plywood insert. Additional water protection made by Fiebing's Golden Mink Paste.
